I can be an asshole of the grandest kind
I can withhold like it’s going out of style

Yes, me Ms. Naturally Alise is the biggest Alanis Morrisette fan ever.  Shocked?   Don’t be.  Have you checked out her lyrics… AWESOMENESS.  Definitely a poet.  Here are my favorites:

“Simple Together”
This songs makes me cry every.single.time. I don’t have a favorite line, the whole song is just… just…. EVERYTHING.

You’ve been my golden best friend
Now with post-demise at hand

This grief overwhelms me

I often find that many singers/songwriters are some of the most awesome poets.  Every week I am going to post an artist and share with you my favorite songs and lines from them.  Sometimes I like my poetry set to music… enjoy the lovely Amel Larrieux…
